The video is a loop. There is no climax, no progression, no beginning, no end, like a memory repeated endlessly. It is a contemplative and meditative piece. Almost still shots of the landscape and garden surrounding a house - taken at dusk and dawn - are interrupted by short incisive footage where a rain of ashes falls inside, covering the furniture of a bedroom. The sound of the video is environmental, birds and cars coming and going through the valleys which bring back a certain grounded presence to images where time feels suspended. Sentences on a black screen - functioning as a projection space for mental images - give context.
